Day 8: Travelling

We've had our first encounter with the outer world, CISV Camps have excursions that let participants know where they're at and how the Host City looks like. With this in mind we had a wonderful time while going around on a City Tour, finishing our excursion at a shopping mall for a relaxing afternoon with our new found CISV Friends. While going around we've been able to understand some of the cultural aspects of Medellin and we've been aloud to do a little sightseeing of the Mountain Capital of Colombia.

Medellin is a city with a vast variety of things to do,  great weather, and cheerful, loving people that will make any guest feel right at home. Although we did not go to every single posible touristic place there is to go to at Medellin, we had a great experience at our first Excursion and we were able to travel and have a different day in our T-Rex Experience.

Our lovely city has shown the children a view of Colombia they might have not had before traveling, our sky greeted each and every one of them with grace and we were able to have a marvelous time. At a stop on our tour we were able to sing one of our energizers and give a little back to the city, thing that is normally done at a CISV Excursion and lets us remind each other it is still part of the Camp's Activities.

We hope the children had an amazing day and would like to come back to this city sometime in the future, we've given them a view of what Medellin is and a glimpse of Colombia to take home and plan to come back. Let's all remember that the Mountain Capital awaits you all and welcomes each and every one of its visitors with a loving embrace.
